Supporting people and wildlife

People & Wildlife

Social Responsibility

In sharing the wonders of Africa, we are proud to support the Game Rangers Association of Africa (GRAA) at no additional cost to our clients. These brave, committed men and women are the unsung heroes, tasked with protecting the irreplaceable biodiversity and landscapes of Africa’s conservation regions.

We could not think of a better ‘fit for purpose’ association, supporting both people and wildlife in Africa. We have the privilege of flying tourism guests into the very regions they protect.

Understanding the harsh climates, terrain and dangers (both animal and poachers) faced by these dedicated men and women, our contributions assist with field equipment & kit, first aid training and ranger medical evacuations in the event of injuries while on duty. Every charter flight flown supports this deserving organisation. In addition, when Empty Sector flight opportunities arise which could assist GRAA rangers and staff traverse through remote regions, we offer these sectors complimentary to the GRAA.

Thank you for choosing to fly with Red Fan Aviation and the invaluable support this helps us extend to the GRAA.

The Game Rangers Association of Africa (GRAA)

Founded in 1970, The Game Rangers Association of Africa (GRAA) is a non-profit organization, and is the founding member of the International Ranger Federation (IRF), as well as an international member of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Collectively the association provides extensive practical insights into protected area management.
